Rick Leeworthy - Managing Director
Rick's 30 years of past experience in the building industry and leadership development have had a profound impact on the way he does business today. Rick started out as an apprentice plumber in 1980, 10 years later Rick decided to go back to trade school to acquire his builders licence. In 1995 Rick founded Hadar, and today, outside of the large national building groups, Hadar Homes is the most awarded builder in the district.
Rick's vision to see young people raised up and developed as leaders, caused him to spend 3 years travelling to Melbourne where he helped pioneer a leadership training program at Deakin University. The purpose of this program was to provide an innovative leadership training course that dealt with character development and the practical application of leadership. The program has seen many students graduate and is still running today. Rick is known as a passionate public speaker who is engaged by various groups to speak about leadership and character development.
Travis Cartwright - Sales Manager Albury/Wodonga
Travis has been a part of the Hadar team for over 10 years and was instrumental in positioning Hadar Homes in the Albury / Wodonga market after our relocation from Yarrawonga.
Travis is a fully qualified Graphic Reproduction Artist who has a passion to create. The focus of his role as Sales Manager in Albury / Wodonga is to ensure a rewarding and positive experience for all our clients.
He goes above and beyond the call of duty to achieve this, and his dedication is rewarded with very happy and satisfied clients. His own experience in building with Hadar Homes has helped him immensely in understanding how clients feel throughout the process of building their home, he's truly been there and done that, and about to do it again.
In addition Travis manages and trains our team of hosts who operate our display homes and he has one full time sales associate he is mentoring. Travis also maintains a strong local network of industry professionals including local agents, financiers, developers and investors.
Prior to commencing with Hadar Homes Travis undertook a variety of sales management and marketing roles with such companies as Apple Computers, Solver / Wattyl Paints and Sinclair International bringing a wealth of experience to his role here.
Hayden Moon - Sales Manager Yarrawonga & Design Manager
Hayden has been an integral part of the team at Hadar Homes for over 9 years when he joined Hadar he brought with him a wealth of experience, over 20 years in the field of architectural drafting and building design.
His diverse roles have seen him gain a solid understanding of town planning principles and develop keen negotiation skills in working with councils and other regulatory bodies on behalf of his clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
Hayden's initial role with Hadar was to set up and manage the in house drafting team which he did successfully. He has also been able to utilise his town planning knowledge and experience to assist with the planning and design of Hadar Homes' multi-dwelling projects.
Today Hayden's core role is to work closely with our clients in our design a plan process, to create their dream home and deliver the project within the agreed upon budget. He has an outstanding track record of satisfied clients and a significant number of the homes he has designed have been award winning homes with the peak industry bodies, the Housing Industry Association and the Master Builders Association.
Lisa Starr - New Home Consultant Yarrawonga
Lisa has been involved the building industry for over 20 years. Lisa and her husband Andrew ran a building business in Yarrawonga for 10 years. This experience gained Lisa a wealth of knowledge in the building industry.
Lisa also has experience in public relations, estimating and finance.
Lisa joined the Hadar team in 2014 and is the New Homes Consultant based in Yarrawonga. Having lived in Yarrawonga for over 30 years, Lisa knows the town and what is expectated for a quality built home. This is was a contributing factor in her decision to join the Hadar team. Lisa since joining the Hadar team has helped many clients with our plans or customizing their own plans to suit their needs.
Lisa’s husband is a building supervisor for Hadar in Yarrawonga. Together they make a great asset to Hadar Homes where Lisa’s meticulousness in the sales process flows onto Andrew’s expert knowledge and attention to detail, which in turn guarantees that our clients will have the best quality built home. Lisa assists clients in making their dream home a reality.
Scott Burgess - New Home Consultant
Scott has been a part of the Hadar Sales Team since Aug 2015, and has made a real impact since starting. Scott has a real passion for the building Industry, as well as a wealth of experience having worked in the industry for over 8 years.
Scott’s knowledge of the industry allows his clients to enjoy a more relaxed building experience. Prior to working with Hadar Homes, Scott managed an employment services contract with Workways.
Scott also loves supporting his beloved Myrtleford Saints in the Ovens and Murray league as well as keeping fit and active.
Andrew Beggs - Construction Manager
Having been with Hadar Homes over 10 years and been in the construction industry for over 20 years, Andrew has progressed to his current role where his key accountabilities are managing two construction supervisors, managing his own construction jobs and undertaking business cash flow forecasting. Andrew works closely with the financial controller utilising his knowledge of the jobs under construction to provide key information for accurate cash flow forecasting in the business.
When he commenced with Hadar Homes Andrew brought with him solid experience in residential and commercial construction, project management, and he welcomed the opportunity to get back on the tools starting with Hadar as a carpenter. His variety of experience and solid understanding of the fundamentals of construction make him an asset to Hadar and any projects we undertake.
Andrew is constantly praised by our clients for the quality of service he provides and the finished product the construction team deliver to our clients making him a true asset to the company.
Andrew Starr - Building Supervisor
Andrew coordinates all trades, deliveries and inspections on site. He is responsible for building quality control and the standards of trades and materials used on each home and ensuring controlled workflow on sites.
Andrew has been with Hadar Homes for over 3 years and has 27 years experience in the building trade. He is a qualified carpenter & joiner and a qualified builder, holding licenses both in NSW and Vic. He has a supervisors certificate and has completed studies on green building practices. Andrew has had years of experience in designing and drafting up new house plans and has a wealth of knowledge in the construction sector having owned and run his own successful building company for over 10 years.
Starry (as he is affectionately known) is a current director on the Board of the Mulwala Water Ski Club and has been for the last 5 years. He is also the current president of a local football club.
Matt Leeworthy - Building Supervisor
Matt has been working with Hadar for over 5 years. He started his pre-apprenticeship in 2007 and once completed, he started an apprenticeship with Hadar in 2008. Soon after completion of this he obtained his own building licence. He has worked his way through the ranks from being trained, to teaching apprentices, running his own jobs and finally now is one of the site supervisors for Hadar Homes.
Amanda Wilson - Office Manager
Amanda is an integral part of the Hadar Homes team, bringing to her role at Hadar several years experience in conveyancing with a large law firm in Sydney. Amanda relocated from Sydney to Albury/Wodonga and commenced working in the building industry. Amanda puts her legal experience to good use in coordinating the preparation of our building contracts, ensures they are prepared in accordance with best practice and issued in a timely fashion.
Additionally, Amanda's core role is to liaise between our Sales Team and Drafting and Estimating departments to coordinate and plan our site starts for all new homes. This necessitates liaising with our key external stakeholders such as energy raters, engineers, councils and certifiers to ensure correct permits and development applications are lodged and obtained before a home progresses to a site start.
Since joining Hadar Homes Amanda has been responsible for continuous process improvement, to drive efficiency and ensure we serve you, our clients, to the absolute best of our ability. Improvements include; the streamlining of our permit applications, and optimised internal processes.
Michele Bird - Finance Associate
Having formal qualifications including a Diploma in Accounting and Financial services, Michele joined the award winning team at Hadar in 2013 and works closely with our Finance Manager and Business Accountant.
Michele previously worked within the Real Estate sector for more than 15 years, bringing a solid knowledge and understanding of operational property transactions to her role at Hadar Homes.
With a home currently under Construction with Hadar, she has experienced first-hand Hadar's proven desire to serve and honour their clients dreams.
