When our clients made the move from Melbourne to Wangaratta, they envisioned a custom home that would embrace space, sunlight and the calm of its creekside reserve setting. The result is a contemporary design that feels both expansive and deeply considered.

Working within a tight block, the layout was carefully planned to maximise every square metre. Skylights were strategically positioned to draw natural light deep into the home, while a front balcony captures serene reserve views. Large fixed glazing frames the pool from the main living area, turning it into a striking focal point and seamlessly connecting indoors and out. Polished concrete floors introduce a sleek, modern edge, complemented by an entertainer’s kitchen designed for gathering.

Recycled brickwork defines the façade, grounding the home with texture and a subtle nod to sustainability. Inside, clean architectural lines are softened by layered materials, where dark cabinetry sits against lighter tones and earthy timbers add warmth.

The living space is a true highlight, with a dramatic raked ceiling and expansive skylights enhancing the sense of volume and light. Below, a fireplace anchors the room, creating a balance between openness and intimacy.

Every detail has been thoughtfully resolved to deliver a home that feels modern yet welcoming — a refined retreat designed for lifestyle, connection and a fresh start.
